- "While last term’s Introduction to Research revolved around conceiving, molding and executing research ideas, Advanced Introduction to Research will now focus on how to speak, write and lecture about scientific results in an expert manner. To this end, we will study selected books and articles by outstanding non-fiction writers and the pertinent writing advice of experts. Much more than making this a mere academic exercise, we will immediately practice any insight. Each week we will do both, speaking and writing exercises, in an as effective and entertaining manner as possible. The course is independent of the previous one and everyone with an interest in working on their science-oriented writing and speaking skills is welcome to attend, restricted only by availability of places."
