Contents
Building on the knowledge acquired in Grundseminar Literature, Aufbauseminar Literature serves as an introduction to literary theory. We will analyze critically the potential and limits of various theoretical approaches and methods by applying them to exemplary primary texts.

Recommended literature
F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby (Scribner).
Weitere Texte (Primär- und Sekundärliteratur) werden zu Semesterbeginn bekanntgegeben.
