  • basic functional analysis, measure and integration theory (most of the course will be self-contained)

Inhalt
This course will be devoted to classical theory and advanced notions of convex analysis, with applications to other problems in mathematical analysis and geometry. The following topics will be addressed:

  • convex sets and functions on Rd and Banach spaces: elementary and advanced properties

  • sub-differential calculus, Legendre transforms, monotone operators and duality in convex analysis

  • applications in calculus of variations and solutions of PDEs

  • geometry of convex sets and convex bodies in Rd, geometric inequalities
