- Das Hauptseminar Linguistics gehört in folgendenStudiengängen jeweils zu folgenden Modulen:
BA English and American Studies: Hauptmodul A (auf Anfrage!)
Lehramt Englisch an Gymnasien: Hauptmodul L-Gym Linguistics
MA English Studies: Modul 9b
MA Linguistik: Modul 2/3
- Inhalt
- This seminar will compare the the presentation of different aspects of English grammar in the standard reference grammars of English (The Comprehensive Grammar of the English Language by Quirk, Greenbaum, Leech & Svartvik) and The Cambridge Grammar of the English Language, edited by Huddleston & Pullum) with that in teaching grammars and textbooks used at school.
Students should be familiar with the overall descriptive framework of these two grammars by the beginning of term.
Should there be a waiting list, students from the waiting list are invited to come to the first seminar to see if there are any places available.
