- Das Hauptseminar Linguistics gehört in folgendenStudiengängen jeweils zu folgenden Modulen:
BA English and American Studies (neu): Hauptmodul A. (Zulassungsvoraussetzung: Zwischenmodul II)
Lehramt Englisch an Gymnasien (neu): Hauptmodul L-Gym Linguistics
Alte Studiengänge (Studienbeginn vor WS 07/08): Hauptstudium. (Zulassungsvoraussetzung: Zwischenprüfung)
MA Linguistics: Modul 2/3 "Applied and Descriptive Linguistics"
- Inhalt
- This seminar will deal with different theories of complementation in English. the focus will lie on Goldberg's theory of argument structure constructions, which will be compared with more traditional approaches.
- Empfohlene Literatur
- Participants will be expected to have worked through the following texts:
Goldberg, Adele (2006): Constructions at Work. Oxford: OUP.
Herbst, Thomas/Susen Schüller (2008): Introduction to Syntactic Analysis. Tübingen: Narr (chapters 2, 6, 7, 8).
