- Das PS Linguistics gehört in folgenden Studiengängen jeweils zu folgenden Modulen:
BA English and American Studies (neu): Zwischenmodul II Linguistics. (Zulassungsvoraussetzung: Zwischenmodul I: Thematisches Kombinationsmodul)
Lehramt Englisch an Gymnasien (neu): Zwischenmodul L-GYM Linguistics. (Zulassungsvoraussetzung: Basismodul Linguistics)
Lehramt Englisch an Grund-, Haupt- und Realschulen (neu): Seminarmodul L-UF Linguistics. (Zulassungsvoraussetzung: Elementarmodul Linguistics)
- Inhalt
- The relation between Contrastive Linguistics and Translation Theory has often been described as a matter of differing perspectives: While translation studies centres on the question as to how the same concept can be expressed in two languages, contrastive linguists are interested in how the two languages differ, say, in terms of sentence structure, word meaning or the structure of texts. This seminar will take both perspectives into account and will cover grammatical, textlinguistic and lexical aspects.
