- Das Seminar zur Sprachgeschichte gehört in folgenden Studiengängen jeweils zu folgendenModulen:
Lehramt Englisch an Gymnasien (neu): Zwischenmodul L-GYM Linguistics. (Zulassungsvoraussetzung: Basismodul Linguistics)
Lehramt Englisch and Gymnasien (alt): zum Erwerb des sprachhistorischen Scheins nach LPO §68
- Inhalt
- This course will give an overview of the development of the English language from its roots as a Germanic dialect to its present state, looking at different aspects such as phonology, morphology, syntax and lexis. Students will be required to give presentations about the cultural and historical background to the linguistic development of English. The course will conclude with a written test.
