- Das Proseminar Linguistics gehört in folgendenStudiengängen jeweils zu folgenden Modulen:

- Inhalt
- Lexicology is the branch of linguistics which studies words. As it covers a great deal of linguistic fields, this Proseminar offers a good opportunity for reflecting once more on topics like phonology & phonetics, morphology, syntax, semantics, sociolinguistics, historical and cognitive linguistics. Lexicography is sometimes described as the practical counterpart of lexicology. It deals with how to make dictionaries, so we will be discussing again linguistic concepts from the point of view which roles they play in modern dictionaries. As there is a wide range of possible topics we will decide in our first session which ones we are going to cover.
