- This voluntary introductory course is highly recommended to everyone who has not yet attended the Grund- and Aufbauseminare in American Literary and Cultural Studies at FAU Erlangen-Nuernberg as well as to all who need to refresh their basic knowledge in these fields.
In several intensive sessions you will receive an overview of key concepts and terms from the fields of Cultural and Literary Studies that are helpful for you in order to analyze and interpret literary texts from the three main genres. To practice your analytical skills, we will read excerpts from selected texts and conclude our meetings with some exercises on how to write a seminar paper.
