- Inhalt
- Learning a foreign language has to be considered as quite complex and cannot be reduced to the acquisition of linguistic competence. In an increasingly multicultural world, the interdependence of language and culture is an important part of foreign language education. In this course, we will think about definitions of "culture", "cultural awareness" and "intercultural learning" and have a close look at various forms of dealing with cultural content in the foreign language classroom. Furthermore, different models of bilingual education will be discussed.
