- Australia is one of the fastest developping first-world-countries and offers more than simply the world´s only marsupials. What has happened in "down under" since Britain sent her first convicts across the oceans? Is Gurumull Yunupingu a traditional food or rather one of the country´s best known Aboriginal singers? Can we read a book about aboriginal beliefs with 6th-graders? Should we watch "Rabbit-proof fence" with 13-year-olds? And what do they do while watching? What does the "Lehrplan" say? So many questions to answer.
Students should be willing to participate in a "non-authentic" classroom-situation and also to prepare a lesson.
