- Inhalt
- In this course we will first discuss important similarities and differences between the English and German sound systems. Then we will explore those factors that have been claimed to affect the pronunciation of a second language. We will consider pronunciation problems typically displayed by German learners of English and discuss the usefulness of different types of exercises designed to train second language learners in the production and perception of English speech sounds and sound sequences.
