- Inhalt
- This course examines the Qur’an in three aspects: a) its origin and its nature as divine revelation, b) its textuality and canonization in early Islamic textual history, 3) its interpretation in multiple methodological trends across textualism and contextualism. The course, also, covers discussions through the language and contents of the Qur’an, the socio-political context at the era of Prophet Muhammad in relation to Qur’anic revelation and certain Qur’anic exegetical text passages are comparatively examined to allow discussions between differing exegetical trends.
