- Prerequisites
- This seminar is accessible to students who have had a course in economic principles.
- Contents
- This research seminar is a gathering of graduate, post-graduate and post-doctoral scholars of the Center for Iraq Studies (www.cis.uni-erlangen.de) for presentation and discussion of current graduation theses and research projects on Iraqi economy mostly in an international perspective. Research methods and practical issues of writing theses and research proposals are mostly the focus of discussions. Master students of DEIS and NOS are welcome to attend this course. They are expected, however, to present an original paper of 15 pages on a topic of their choice related to the Iraqi economy.
IraqEcon provides an up-to-date knowledge and judgment of current economic developments in Iraq as well as an insight in methodical and practical issues of writing academic thesis and presenting its results.
