- Inhalt
- Die Vorlesung befaßt sich mit den grundlegenden methodischen, wissenschafts- und erkenntnistheoretischen Fragen der Theologie. Was ist eigentlich der Gegenstand der Theologie? Was hält ihre Einzeldisziplinen zusammen? Wie verhalten sich Glaube und Vernunft? Wie ist Wahrheit theologisch zu bestimmen? Wie werden theologische Aussagen begründet? Diese und weitere Fragen werden diskutiert, um einen genuinen und kommunikationsfähigen Begriff der Theologie zu entwickeln.

- The lecture deals with the fundamental questions of theological method, of theological epistemology and its relation to the philosophy of science. What is the subject of theology? What gives the coherency of its disciplines? What is the relation of faith and reason? What is truth in theological perspective? How can theological statements be justified? The lecture discusses these and more questions in order to find a concept of theology that is discrete just as well as communicable.
