- Inhalt
- Die Vorlesung beschäftigt sich mit der dynamischen Makroökonomik, vornehmlich der Wachstumstheorie.
Zunächst wird die neoklassische Wachstumstheorie vorgestellt. Im Einzelnen werden das Solow-Modell, das Ramsey-Cass-Koopmanns-Modell, sowie das Diamond-OLG-Modell behandelt. Anschließend wird die sogenannte Endogene Wachstumstheorie
eingeführt. Hier werden neuere Ansätze zur Erklärung der stilisierten
Fakten des Wachstums in Modellen mit Humankapital (u.a. Lucas-
Modell) und in Modellen mit endogenem technischen Fortschritt (u.a. Romer-Modell) vorgestellt.

- The lecture is concerned with dynamic macroeconomics, especially growth theory.
First, the most relevant neoclassic approaches will be introduced, including the Solow-Model, the Ramsey-Cass-Koopmanns-Model, and the Diamond-OLG-Model.
Subsequently, the lecture covers the so-called Endogenous Growth Theory. Here, recent explanations of economic growth's stylized facts are presented in models with human capital (e.g., the Lucas-Model), and in models with endogenous technical change(e.g., the Romer-Model).
