Inhalt
Topic: Mobile Sensing for Audio and Video

In this seminar, we will study some fundamental aspects of mobile sensing for audio and video. This will include, among others, the localization and tracking of the sensor positions, methods for estimating the energy consumption of mobile sensors, error-resilient mobile sensing, as well as the alignment and the joint processing of the data from different sensors for specific purposes.

The seminar is organized around three dates:
Wed. 15.04.2015 at 8:30 (room N5.17): An introduction will be given and the individual topics are assigned to the participants.
Tue. 19.05.2015 at 8:00 (room N5.17): At this intermediate meeting, the participants will give a brief presentation about the status of their work and suggestions for their final presentation are provided.
Wed. 01.07.2015 at 8:00 (room N6.17): At the end of the seminar, each participant will give a presentation of 30 min and submit a report about the investigated topic of about 10 pages.

The seminar is open to both German and foreign students. Therefore, all meetings and presentations will be held in English. Reports may be written in English or German as preferred by the student.
