- Some knowledge from "Optical Material and Systems II: plasmonics and artificial materials" will be needed. More details about that in the first lessen of "Optical Material and Systems II: plasmonics and artificial materials".
- Inhalt
- The course will cover nanoscale processes and devices and their applications for manipulating light on the nanoscale. The following topics will be covered:
Fundamentals, light-matter interaction, dispersion, EM properties of nanostructures, etc. Photonic crystals Photonic nanocircuits Metal optics Manipulating light with plasmonic nanostructures Metamaterials, negative refractive index and super-resolution
