- Der AK Culture gehört in folgenden Studiengängen jeweils zu folgenden Modulen:
BA English and American Studies (neu): Basismodul IV Culture. (Keine Zulassungsvoraussetzung, empfohlen nach dem Besuch des GK)
- Inhalt
- AK Culture extends the knowledge and skills acquired in GK Culture and is structured along the lines of cultural theory, cultural history and cultural analysis; central topics are national identity, nation, race and racial representation, ideology, counterculture, and consumer society. The course primarily focuses on the USA, Great Britain will be taken into account in an exemplary way in some of the case studies.
Requirements: Participants have to present a paper. Reading: The course reading will be made available on the net (StudOn).
