- Inhalt
- This class is not to be taken too seriously. All you have to do is to listen to BBC radio four and discuss various programmes.
Questions that could be discussed include:
Do BBC newsreaders still use BBC English?
To what extent are BBC newsprogrammes different from German news?
Why are quiz programmes on the BBC so much better than German ones?
Furthermore, these programmes will be used to improve students' pronunciation etc.
The main idea of this class is to keep in touch with what is going on in Britain and to learn a little bit about the language, its use in the media and to discuss whatever we feel like discussing.
Intended for students from the 1st to the 12th semester. The class will be held fortnightly.
