- As literary texts provide authentic material for language learning and intercultural education, this course gives an overview of different approaches to teaching literature in the foreign language classroom. We will have a close look at various literary genres (e.g. drama, short stories, poetry, dystopian texts, classic novels) and we will also discuss when and why it makes sense to use different types of media for a deeper comprehension of the written text.
