- Original German designation of this course is “Glaubenslehre in theoretisch-reflektierender Perspektive”. It is open to Erasmus-Students and will therefore be held in English.
The course provides a survey of major themes in Muslim theology and philosophy, from teachings of the Qur’an to contemporary Muslim thought, through a close reading and discussion of (translated) primary texts and supplemented by secondary literature for historical context and further analysis.
